Pine Tree Restaurant & Bar

Cook knew how to cook over easy properly. An issue I find with any restaurants. My wife's bacon was cooked perfect. Only upset wasn't he sausage paddies. They were bad I would recommend bacon sausage links or ham that they offer in the same bargan 6 dollar meal. Eggs were cooked right so left the star on despite the sausage. Waitress and staff were very friendly.

I stay at the local Best Western when I visit Sonora and always eat breakfast at the Pine Tree everyday and quite often we have lunch or dinner there, also. We like the food. The service is great. We are always welcomed as if they remember me and my family!

The Indian food dishes are prepared very well and excellent use of traditional seasonings. The buffet is a little inconsistent in offerings based on day of week and time of day. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant needs serious attention. Grime, dust and sticky tables are abundant. Prices are a little on the high side also and don't reflect the proportion of food served. If you're looking for Indian food in Tuolumne California this might be one of your only choices. It could be worse, but could also be a lot better.

Local spot connected to a Best Western in town. This place has a very extensive menu with all-day breakfast, classical American fare selections, and a rather large menu of Indian cuisine to order from. The naan bread that came with our beef curry was delicious- my wife loved it. The curry itself was just okay. The service was rather slow or understaffed because there was a very large number of people eating at the restaurant for dinner and only two waitresses so it took a while to get our drinks. It's extremely family friendly and great for kids. Nothing special really stuck out to me that would make me return but it wasn't bad at all. Alot of the local Rotary clubs and similar organizations meet here regularly, great small town feel.

Wow, can you imagine that we have Indian food in Sonora? Yes, it is at the Pine Tree. A buffet for lunch and dinner. Ignore the talk about the senior citizens discount on their website, they don't honor it. Back to the buffet. It was all delicious, none of it was hot in the least. They have plenty of hot sauce at the table for folks like me. I will be back. Sadly, it seems that they closed shortly after posting this review. I feel confident that the review wasn't the reason.
